What are the responsibilities and job description for the BSA/AML Compliance Specialist position at ADP Workforce Now?
The BSA/AML Analyst reports to the VP of Compliance and receives day-to-day direction from the BSA Officer for completing BSA/AML functions including, but not limited, to monitoring and investigating suspicious activity, CTR review, SAR preparation, OFAC reviews, and customer due diligence.
Qualifications

- 2 years of banking experience preferred but not required

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Ability to perform efficiently at a fast pace while conforming to policies and procedures

Responsibilities
- Review and investigate unusual activity, alerts, referrals, and high-risk transactions
- Develop proficiency with AML monitoring within Verafin AML management platform
- Review new accounts for compliance with Customer Identification Program and Customer Due Diligence requirements
- Review potential OFAC matches
- Review all accounts opened online and complete CDD information in Verafin
- Review and monitor accounts for non-US persons
- Assist bank personnel with BSA-related questions
- Cross train and serve as a backup for other BSA and deposit compliance duties
- Assist with preparing regulatory BSA exam and audit requests
- Assist with oversight of online training program
- Assist with monitoring of deposit compliance
- Assist with preparation of annual escheat reporting for unclaimed property
- Stay up-to-date on regulatory and internal policies, procedures, and changes related to BSA and deposit compliance
- Assist in the training of staff as needed
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Working Conditions/Physical Demands
- Position operates in a professional office environment
- Routine use of standard office equipment, i.e. computers, phones, photocopiers, calculators, and filing cabinets
- Must be able to remain sedentary 50% of the time
- Employee will occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
