About the Role:
As a QA Analyst based at our BVT Location, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products before they reach our customers. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing comprehensive test plans and cases that align with business requirements and technical specifications. Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a QA Analyst or similar role in software testing.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing life cycle (STLC).
- Experience with manual testing techniques and defect tracking tools such as JIRA or Bugzilla.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and ability to write queries for data validation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium, QTP, or similar frameworks.
- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB Foundation Level).
- Experience testing web and mobile applications across multiple browsers and devices.
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or JavaScript for test automation.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, document, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on functional and technical requirements.
- Perform manual and automated testing to identify software defects and inconsistencies across various platforms and environments.
- Collaborate with developers and product owners to understand features and provide timely feedback on quality issues.
- Track, report, and manage defects using issue tracking tools, ensuring clear communication and follow-up until resolution.
- Participate in requirement reviews, design discussions, and sprint planning to provide quality insights and risk assessments.
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to increase efficiency and effectiveness of quality assurance activities.
