Project Lead Bus. Sys. Analyst

About the Role:

The Project Lead Business Systems Analyst plays a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions within the social assistance sector. This position is responsible for leading complex projects that enhance service delivery and operational efficiency by analyzing, designing, and implementing business systems. Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in business systems analysis, preferably within social assistance or public sector environments.
• Proven experience leading projects and managing cross-functional teams.
• Strong knowledge of business process modeling, requirements gathering, and documentation techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) certification.
• Experience with social assistance program management systems or related software platforms.
• Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall project methodologies.
• Advanced skills in data analysis and reporting tools.
• Experience working in a government or non-profit social services organization.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage business systems analysis activities for social assistance projects, ensuring clear understanding of business requirements and translating them into technical specifications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, program managers, and external vendors to design and implement effective system solutions.
• Develop project plans, timelines, and resource allocations while monitoring progress and mitigating risks to meet project objectives.
• Facilitate stakeholder meetings and workshops to gather detailed requirements, validate solutions, and communicate project status.
• Conduct impact analysis, develop test cases, and coordinate user acceptance testing to ensure system functionality meets business needs.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to junior analysts and team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Document business processes, workflows, and system configurations to support training and knowledge transfer.
