Position Summary:
The Telehealth Assistant facilitates telehealth communication and coordination between doctors and patients, ensuring smooth online consultations, health monitoring, and patient data management. This role combines medical support with technical skills and is suitable for individuals with strong communication abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and familiarity with digital tools.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist doctors in scheduling telehealth appointments and confirming patient information.
Instruct patients on the use of telehealth platforms, camera equipment, or mobile applications for video consultations.
Collect and organize patient medical history, health data, or reports before consultations.
Assist doctors in recording consultation content, uploading documents, and updating the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
Handle patient inquiries, referrals, prescription delivery, and follow-up matters.
Ensure the privacy and security of patient data and adhere to medical confidentiality regulations.
Monitor the operational status of the telehealth system and report technical issues.
Support the team's work in health education, patient support, and platform promotion. Job Requirements:
Vocational school diploma or above in medical management, nursing, public health, or a related field.
Familiar with telemedicine platforms, video conferencing tools, and electronic medical record systems.
Excellent communication and coordination skills and customer service awareness.
Able to accurately record medical information and maintain data confidentiality.
Basic computer and network skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Work experience in a medical institution or health service sector.
Understanding HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) or related privacy regulations.
Good English speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills, capable of supporting international telemedicine.
Familiar with wearable devices or remote monitoring tools (such as blood pressure monitors, blood glucose meters, etc.).
Work Environment:
