Position: Medical Reception / Intake Coordinator
Location: Adore Health – Brooklyn, NY
Adore Health is seeking a friendly, organized Medical Reception / Intake Coordinator to join our growing infusion and hematology-oncology practice. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping patients and being part of a supportive, professional team. New grads welcome – full training provided.
Role Overview
As the first point of contact for patients, you’ll assist with check-ins, scheduling, insurance verification, and coordination between clinical and administrative staff. You’ll play a key role in creating a smooth and positive experience for every patient.
Responsibilities
- Greet and check in patients with professionalism and warmth
- Schedule and confirm appointments and follow up on referrals
- Verify insurance and obtain authorizations as needed
- Collect patient information and maintain accurate records
- Communicate with nurses, providers, and billing to keep workflows on track
- Support daily front-office operations and maintain a welcoming environment
