Responsibilities
- Greet clients and their pets warmly, establishing a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors
- Schedule appointments and manage client communications effectively
- Perform pet bathing, and other pet care services with attention to detail
- Handle animals safely using proper restraint techniques and animal handling skills
- Maintain cleanliness of bathing stations and grooming areas, ensuring hygiene standards are met
- Communicate clearly with pet owners about their pet’s grooming needs and health considerations.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in dog training, pet grooming, or animal handling is highly desirable, but we provide all training.
- Veterinary technician or veterinary assistant experience is a plus
- Knowledge of animal restraint techniques and heavy lifting capabilities required for handling larger animals or equipment
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and compassion for animals
