Overview:
The Executive Director will plan and direct all programs of the Agency toward meeting the needs of Birth
Parents and Adoptive Parents while maintaining regulatory compliance and accountability.
Key Responsibilities:
The Executive Director will be responsible for the oversight and daily operations of the Agency, which
includes the Birth Parent Program and the Adoptive Parent Program.
Oversee the delivery of services and ensure that the Agency complies with the rules and
regulations of the state of Arizona.
Responsible for strategic planning and the development of overall objectives regarding initiatives,
needs, goals, plans and challenges.
Program development, implementation and ongoing maintenance of all agency philosophies,
policies, procedures and standards.
To provide quality assurance by completing reports, data collection and outcome measurement
activities.
To oversee and be responsible for all fiscal matters, budgets, resource allocation and maintaining
accurate financial records.
To maintain a professional level of administration including interviewing, hiring, and planning
for staff development, growth, and the ability to assess and maximize talents and strengths of all
staff.
Establish and maintain HR related employee files.
To supervise and evaluate the administrative staff.
To develop community support for the agency. To develop and coordinate relationships with
other social service agencies.
Market, plan, direct and participate in community outreach to enhance the visibility and status of
the agency on a local and state level.
To be accessible to all aspects of the agency, Birth Parents, Adoptive Parents, staff and other
agencies.
Daily Responsibilities include:
Communicating with staff members through e-mail and telephone calls
Engaging and empowering waiting families.
Community outreach.
Providing direct linkages to services and resources to families
Documenting all communication, case notes and dialogues as needed
Completing client reports, packets and paperwork as needed
Developing policy, procedure, and agency forms as needed.
Providing potential clients with information regarding agency services.
Other Responsibilities include:
Supporting staff in daily activities, training and overall professional development of the staff.
Fostering a cooperative and productive environment through strong leadership

Promoting interdepartmental collaboration within Adoption Choices of Arizona.
Completing reports, data collection and outcome measurement activities.
Assessing the quality of services provided by staff members.
Other duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Public Administration or Social Work with two years of
professional experience in a human service field in a management position;
Knowledge of the functions of the Arizona Department of Child Safety and applicable rules and
regulations
Demonstrated excellence in multi system management and collaboration
Experience in supervision and staff development
Exemplary written, verbal and organizational skills
Excellent family engagement skills
Proficiency with computer applications including Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
