Role Description
This is a part-time, 24-32 hours, on-site role as a Kennel Assistant at Adopt-A-Dog in Armonk, NY. The Kennel Assistant will be responsible for animal care, laundry, communication with team members, and animal handling on a day-to-day basis.
Qualifications
- Animal Care, Pet Care, and Animal Handling.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with team members and visitors.
- Ability to handle and care for animals with patience and compassion.
- Experience in a similar role or volunteer work with animals is a plus.
- Knowledge of animal behavior and basic medical care for animals.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
