POSITION SUMMARY

The Adobe Population Health Salesforce Developer will play a crucial role in the design, development, and implementation of Salesforce-based solutions to meet the organization's needs. They are responsible for customizing and configuring Salesforce applications, integrating third-party applications, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of Salesforce projects. The ideal candidate should have strong technical skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and evolving environment.

This position reports to our Phoenix office (16th St. and Glendale Ave.) with typical hours, Monday-Friday, 8a-5p.


DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Customization and Development: Design and implement custom solutions using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Components to address specific business requirements and enhance the Salesforce platform's capabilities.
  • Integration: Integrate Salesforce with other systems and applications, such as ERP, marketing automation, or external databases, to enable seamless data flow and process automation.
  • Data Management: Manage data migration and data quality initiatives, ensuring data integrity and accuracy within the Salesforce system.
  • Maintenance and Support: Provide ongoing support and maintenance of existing Salesforce applications, including debugging, troubleshooting, and resolving issues as they arise.
  • Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document requirements, translating them into technical specifications for development.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing of Salesforce applications to ensure they meet quality standards, are bug-free, and perform as expected.
  • Salesforce Configuration: Utilize declarative development tools like Process Builder, Workflows, Flows, and Validation Rules to implement business logic and automate processes.
  • Salesforce Community Development: Build and customize Salesforce Community Cloud to create self-service portals for customers, partners, or employees.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of Salesforce solutions, including technical designs, user guides, and training materials.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay up to date with the latest Salesforce features, releases, and best practices to propose innovative solutions and drive platform improvements.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Director of Information Systems.


SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2 years of proven experience as a Salesforce Developer, with a strong understanding of the Salesforce platform and architecture.
  • Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and other relevant Salesforce development tools.
  • Familiarity with web technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and REST/SOAP APIs.
  • Experience in integrating Salesforce with external systems using integration tools like MuleSoft, Boomi, or custom API development.
  • Knowledge of data migration and data management best practices in Salesforce.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and ethical conduct.


EDUCATION, LICENSES, & CERTIFICATION

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field required.
  • Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Platform Developer I, Salesforce Administrator) are strongly preferred.
