Summary
We take assembly hardware options and install them in mainframe of copiers , and printers per the customer’s request. Then we test the units that we setup for the customer and follow a standardized checklist and QA process to verify the product is functioning properly before units are staged and shipped to the customer. Also, required are basic computer skills, basic mechanical skills, and you will be using tools such as different types screw drivers and nut drivers. Our units go from small printers up to 50 lbs., or so but safety is important so you will always have team members to assist in lifting, and there are times you will be walking and stand, however, it isn’t extensive. Being able to lift 50lbs and over is required., however it must be 2-person lifting. Looking for someone who likes to work with their hands, can do repetitive tasks, and work in a team environment. The client is Ricoh Company and Free parking is available.

Responsibilities
This is an intermediate level position.
Incumbent completes all required administrative tasks in an accurate, and timely manner, and has the ability to accomplish assigned projects with minimal supervision.
Works typically in a production shop setting up new equipment for delivery to end-user customers.
Sets-up and preps all assigned equipment and performs operational checks making all necessary adjustments utilizing the Supply Chain Install/Return Checklist.
Analyzes and troubleshoots equipment failures to determine necessary corrective action.
Responsible for closing jobs in WMS - tracking hours to manage productivity.
Maintains clean and organized workspace.
Completes all required administrative tasks in an accurate and timely manner.
Responsible for the quality of the machines delivered to the customer.
Responsible for the control of company assets provided for the job function.
Works with other shop personnel for on-the-job training and troubleshooting.
Follows all company policies, procedures, training programs and guidelines.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Minimum of 2 years related work experience.
Demonstrated mastery of all Associate, Shop Technician competencies.
Basic technical knowledge (mechanical, electronics, and basic computer skills). Employees may be required to work overtime - working outside the normal working hours when the need arises.
Demonstrated good work habits and observation of all safety rules.
Represents the company in a professional manner at all times including personal customer contact, written communication, or conversations.
Ability to work independently and responsibly.
Ability to follow through with work directives and meet deadlines.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to read and follow written instructions.
Strong verbal communications skills.
Ability to work on a team.
Typically, a warehouse environment with adequate lighting and ventilation, and a normal range of temperature and noise level.
Work assignments are diversified.
Interpret, comprehend and apply complex material, data and instruction - prepare, provide and convey diversified information.
Working conditions regularly expose individuals to conditions that could result in minor cuts and burns.
There is frequent exposure to chemical solvents and cleaners.
Physical effort is required in the lifting of tool cases, and assorted equipment weighing up to 75 pounds, as well as the ability to move objects on wheels that may weigh up to 700 pounds.
Frequent stooping, bending, squatting and kneeling are required to service equipment at floor level.
