Position Overview
The Senior MuleSoft Developer will design, build, secure, and optimize enterprise-grade API solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform. This role involves advanced development, custom policy creation, API gateway configuration, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and collaboration across technical teams. Strong hands-on experience in custom MuleSoft policies is required.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop MuleSoft API Gateway solutions to meet business and technical requirements.
Configure, customize, and implement API gateway policies for performance, security, and compliance.
Develop APIs using RAML or OpenAPI and implement them in MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
Build Mule applications using Mule 4, DataWeave 2.0, MUnit, and related toolsets.
Implement security mechanisms including SSL, OAuth2, threat protection, and data protection.
Collaborate with architects, developers, and operations teams on API design and integration.
Perform code reviews, testing, debugging, and documentation of API solutions.
Troubleshoot API gateway and runtime issues using tools like ELK, Dynatrace, and Anypoint Monitoring.
Identify opportunities to improve scalability, reliability, and performance of API solutions.
Create reusable MuleSoft components and libraries for cross-project use.
Support and guide developers on MuleSoft best practices and custom policy implementations.
Prepare and maintain technical documents, design guidelines, and release notes.
