Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $19.57 - $26.05 per hour
Position Summary:
The Field Representative II provides on-site technical and managed services support for Ricoh multifunction devices (MFDs), printers, and related office equipment within a school district environment. This role serves as the first responder for service needs across multiple locations and requires independent work, strong customer service skills, and technical troubleshooting expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as first responder for servicing Ricoh MFDs and printers across multiple school sites
- Operate, service, and support high-end office and production equipment
- Perform copier, printer, press, bindery, fulfillment, QC, and final check functions as required
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues
- Perform routine maintenance including clearing paper jams, replacing toner, refilling machine oil, and basic repairs
- Calibrate equipment to ensure accurate color and image quality
- Transfer print files electronically from network systems to production equipment
- Maintain optimal machine performance and report machine error codes when needed
- Perform diagnostics, installations, removals, and retrofits on complex office products
- Maintain required service and productivity reporting tools
- Manage inventory of supplies and parts according to company guidelines
- Maintain a professional appearance and clean, organized work area
- Deliver strong customer service and ensure accurate, error-free work
- Meet attendance standards, work scheduled hours, and support overtime as required
- Drive a Ricoh-assigned vehicle to service account locations during work hours
- Perform additional duties as assigned by site management
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 3 years of related experience (5 years preferred)
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
- Experience calibrating, operating, and troubleshooting office and production equipment
- Computer skills for reporting and documentation
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 70 lbs occasionally
- Willingness to deliver presentations (e.g., PowerPoint) when required
