Responsibilities

- Collect, analyze, and document data meticulously to monitor progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards.
- Perform intake assessments to determine client needs and establish appropriate treatment goals.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and healthcare professionals to coordinate care plans and ensure consistency across settings.
- Maintain accurate medical records, including progress notes, treatment plans, and session documentation in accordance with medical terminology standards.
- Provide training and supervision to behavior technicians or paraprofessionals as needed, fostering a team-oriented environment focused on patient care excellence.
- Stay current with developments in behavioral health, special education, and diagnostic evaluation techniques to enhance service quality.
Requirements
- Valid BCBA certification with current licensure in Maryland.
- Experience working with children or adults with developmental disabilities, particularly autism spectrum disorder.
- Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavioral therapy techniques, and data collection methods.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, HIPAA compliance, and medical records management.
- Proven ability to conduct patient assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and intake procedures effectively.
