Admiral is looking for a candidate to work as a Security Professional in Washington, DC but must be able to obtain a license through SOMB/DLCP. Prior military (honorable discharge) experience, law enforcement, FPS or GSA experience, is preferred. The selected candidate will be able to demonstrate a professional posture, sharp appearance and command presence and will be required to monitor and control facility access. Prolonged period of predominantly standing will be required. Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property, monitoring surveillance equipment, and access points. Investigates security breaches, incidents, and other alarming behavior. Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities.

Admiral is looking for a candidate to work as a Security Professional in Washington, DC but must be able to obtain a license through SOMB/DLCP. The selected candidate will be able to demonstrate a command presence and will be required to monitor and control facility access. Prolonged period of predominantly standing will be required. Requirement MINIMUM:
- MUST be able to obtain a license.
- Prior Military (honorable discharge) or Law Enforcement preferred.
- Must be poised and able to function effectively with the general public.
- Possess prior training and/or experience in basic security industry standards.
- Possess strong customer service skills.
- Ability to walk / stand for extended periods of time.
- Ability to read, write and communicate fluently.
- Other duties as assigned.
This position may require work inside and outside in varying temperatures. Prolonged period of predominantly standing will be required, walking, bending and some lifting.
Qualifications
All candidates:
- MUST be able to obtain a license.
- Prior Military (honorable discharge) or Law Enforcement preferred.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must possess exceptional customer service skills.
- Must be able to multitask.
- Must be comfortable with Microsoft office products.
- Must be able to operate and maintain site specific security programs.
- Must have at least one year of verifiable work experience.
Salary : $28 - $31
