Directs warehousing activities for Sales Center by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisor(s).
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manages one subordinate supervisor who supervises approximately 5 employees in the Warehouse Department. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of this unit. Also, directly supervises non-supervisory employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Mathematical Skills

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Establishes operational procedures for activities such as verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of product and materials (includes outdated, damaged and pilfered inventory) and keeping warehouse inventory current and at appropriate levels.
- Inspects physical condition of warehouse and equipment. Prepares work order for repairs and requisitions for replacement of equipment.
- Confers with department heads to ensure coordination of warehouse activities with activities of other functions such as production, sales, records control and purchasing.
- Performs housekeeping and grounds maintenance of warehouse and sales center offices.
- Directs salvage of damaged or used material.
- Participates in planning personnel safety and plant protection activities.
- Other duties may be assigned by the immediate supervisor or other supervisor at any time
