Business Development Representative

Adminstone LLC
Caldwell, ID Full Time
POSTED ON 8/7/2026
AVAILABLE BEFORE 12/4/2026

A business owner has been burned before. They signed with a firm that promised the world, took the retainer, and then handed them off to someone they never met again. So when you sit across from them, they are not really listening to your pitch — they are watching to see whether you are the kind of person who disappears once the ink dries. The sale does not happen because you said the right thing. It happens because they decided, somewhere in that conversation, that you were not going anywhere.

What this role actually is

You are the human face of Adminstone — from the first conversation, through the signature, and through every month that follows. This is not a traditional sales seat. The sale closes because the relationship is genuine, the firm's value is self-evident, and the mission resonates. Your job is to build the kind of trust that makes that conversation happen naturally. Once a client signs, you become the person they most associate with Adminstone — their primary point of contact and the steady voice behind everything we deliver. Three recurring moments keep that relationship healthy: the touch call on Day 1 of each month, the review call after each package release, and the mid-month check-in on Day 21. You are not chasing the next logo at the expense of the clients you already won. You hold the whole book.

Who we're actually looking for

Someone who has, at least once, talked a prospect out of signing because it wasn't the right fit — and earned a referral six months later because of it. You read a room without performing. You remember the name of a client's daughter because you were actually listening, not because it was in your notes. You are organized in a way most relationship people are not: every touch call logged, every record current, nothing falling through. You do not confuse being liked with being trusted, and you would rather lose a deal than win it on a promise the firm can't keep. If that is you, we should talk — because the right person in this seat becomes the reason clients stay for years.

Why Adminstone exists

We started Adminstone because small business owners are handed a brutal choice: drown in the work that has nothing to do with why they started, or hire a patchwork of expensive professionals they can't afford and can't coordinate. We built a different answer — a single firm that handles everything a business is built on, delivered by coordinated experts who treat the client's company as if it were their own. The tagline is the whole promise: the foundation your business is built on. You are the person who makes that promise feel real on day one and keeps it feeling real on day three hundred.

The honest part

We are early. We are building toward a milestone-based launch and the first people in the door are shaping what this firm becomes. That means more ambiguity than an established company and more ownership than you would get anywhere else. The conflict check is non-negotiable — no prospect goes into the pipeline without Operations Manager conflict-check approval, and submitting one without it voids the commission on that account. We are direct about the rules because we are direct about everything. That is the firm you would be joining.

Compensation & what you'd be measured on

Base salary (to be discussed) plus a commission and residual structure documented in full in your BDR Commission and Residual Agreement. The residual is the point: you earn on the relationships you keep healthy, not just the ones you close. Full benefits accompany the W-2 track. Success looks like touch calls logged for 100 percent of assigned accounts, zero overdue touch calls at any point in the month, client health scores maintained or improved across the book, and CRM records that are current and complete at all times.
