Responsibilities:
- Follow lesson plans left by the absent teacher or create and implement your own lesson plans
- Maintain a safe and positive classroom environment
- Provide instruction to students in a variety of subjects and grade levels
- Assess student learning and adjust instruction accordingly
- Communicate with school staff
Requirements:
- Certificate of High School or Equivalency
- Teaching certification preferred, but not required
- Experience working with students in a classroom setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow lesson plans and adapt to different teaching styles and environments
- Flexibility to work at various schools within the district
- Ability to pass a background check
