Position Supervises: N/A

Work Schedule: Part time with flexibility required.         

POSITION SUMMARY

Provide all required trainings to employees depending on program requirements. Monitor and ensure agency AEDs are in working order.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS STATEMENT(S)

Training

A. Provide all in person required training for employees (i.e., CPR, Safety Care, Abuse & Neglect, driver training, and others as determined).

B. Assist with new employee orientation.

C. Track completed training for employees based on program requirements.

D. Assist employees to complete missing training as needed.

E. Assist employees in registering for training as needed.

F. Alert employees when the training schedule changes (cancelled or rescheduled trainings) and assist them in determining their options.

G. Ensure training licensure(s) is current.

Programming

A. Provide training and classes to participants as appropriate and needed.

B. Check AEDs monthly. Replace batteries and pads as needed and keep records of monthly checks.

C. Perform other duties as assigned.

POSITIONS QUALIFICATIONS SKILLS & ABILITIES

Education: Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field.

Experience: Minimum of one year related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Skills: Ability to organize materials, provide training through effective communication, document function activity accurately, troubleshoot and solve problems, and work with a diverse population of employees and participants is required. Must have excellent communication and organizational skills.              

Other Requirements: Ability to lift, carry, and set up training materials and demonstrate training skills including CPR on the floor.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

A. Ability to Stand, Walk, sit, manually manipulate, reach outward and above shoulders, speak, climb, crawl, squat, kneel, and bend on a daily basis (depending on training provided).

B. Capability to Lift, carry, push or pull up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.
