General Statement of Responsibilities:
Under the general supervision of the Federal Programs Director will obtain and maintain the District records and data. To improve student achievement data systems in support of schools and/or other departments. Received direction from Federal Programs Director. Methods in performing tasks are the responsibility of the employee and are to be performed within the established policies or as prescribed by rules and regulations. Work is reviewed periodically to assure compliance to standards and measured results.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Verifying data and assisting with and/or creating course registration catalog for assigned schools.
- Assisting teachers with access to student and information for PLCs.
- Compiling reports from student data related to ELA, Math, Science and other student data.
- Working with the technology department to insure proper importing and exporting of student data.
- Interpreting and applying rules, policies, procedures, and regulations affecting assigned area of responsibility.
- Consults with academic department concerning the importance of data requirements, and aids in providing feedback information to them.
- Provides assistance in the preparation of special analyses and reports to the school administration, school board, and distribution.
- Recommends and implements new operating methods to improve data flow, collection, editing, processing and distribution.
- Recommends and implements new standards and procedures for administrative information.
- Assist in providing oversight of federal program activities, events, and programs.
- Reads and understand Federal and State regulations, district rules, policies, procedure.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Certification:
- Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Valid State Driver's License
- Arizona Teacher Certification

- Reasoning, analyzing, and interpreting
- Researching, organizing and prioritizing.
- Good verbal and written communication skills to provide program and data related information to all stakeholders in the district.

Knowledge Required:
- Advanced Excel spreadsheet functions
- Training and experiences in data, Visions, Microsoft applications.
- Modern office methods, practices, procedures, and computer equipment and terminology.
- Work organization and research techniques sufficient to collect, analyze, and interpret data.
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor degree in Education or related field
Experience:
- At least three years of related experience
- Bilingual, Navajo, and English.
- Professional computer skills in Excel, Word, Visions, PowerPoint, and File Maker Pro.
Physical Requirements:
- Positions in this class typically require: fingering, talking, hearing, seeing, and repetitive motions.
- Some travel will be required
- Mostly sitting but be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and/or carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects as necessary.
