About the Role
Admera Health is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Laboratory Sample Receiving Associate to join our growing operations team. This position plays a critical role in laboratory accessioning, reagent receiving, and daily laboratory support activities to ensure smooth workflow and high-quality sample processing.
The ideal candidate is dependable, able to work in a fast-paced environment, and committed to maintaining accurate records and laboratory compliance standards. Associate degree candidates are encouraged to apply; Bachelor’s degree and laboratory experience are preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and accession client samples and laboratory reagents
- Verify package contents and ensure samples are appropriate for testing
- Perform sample sorting, labeling, and data entry in a high-throughput environment
- Properly prepare, organize, and store biological specimens
- Complete all documentation and paperwork required for sample processing
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of laboratory workstations
- Perform quality control checks and ensure testing requests are accurate
- Follow company SOPs, OSHA guidelines, and laboratory safety procedures
- Maintain strict and accurate laboratory records
- Collaborate with team members and cross-functional departments to support laboratory operations
Qualifications
- Associate degree preferred; Bachelor’s degree with laboratory experience is a plus
- Experience handling biological or customer samples preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Positive attitude and willingness to support laboratory operations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to closely follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
