Admera Health is seeking an Associate Scientist I (Lab Sample Accessioning) to join our team!

Title: Associate Scientist I (Sample Accessioning)
Department: Biopharma Services (Lab)
Location: South Plainfield, NJ
Responsibilities:
- Receive and identified client samples. Verify package contents are appropriate for testing
- Performing sample sorting and data entry in a fast-paced environment
- Properly prepare and store specimen samples
- Performed all paperwork required to process samples.
- Maintain cleanliness of lab station and perform QC checks on tests request.
- Strictly follow company policies and procedures, including OSHA guidelines, follow standard operating procedures for processing biological specimens while complying with laboratory safety protocols.
- Strict recordkeeping of all laboratory procedures.
- Collaborate within the group and cross departmental to achieve goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree with lab experience preferred
- Experience with handling and processing customer samples preferred
- Can work independently and as a team with positive attitude
- Excellent interpersonal skills; both verbal and written are essential
- Closely follow Standard Operating Protocol's (SOP's)
Compensation
· Salary Starting at: $50,000 annually (commensurate with experience and qualifications)
