Corporate Internet Sales Representative
Location: Rochester, NY – ADMAR Supply Corporate Headquarters
Position Overview:
ADMAR Supply, a leader in construction equipment sales and rentals, is seeking a driven Corporate Internet Sales Representative to manage and grow our online sales of parts, overstock inventory, and used equipment. This role will be responsible for building and managing an e-commerce presence across multiple online platforms including eBay, Craigslist, and Facebook Marketplace.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build, manage, and optimize an online store presence, primarily through eBay, Craigslist, and Facebook Marketplace.
- Write, post, and manage online advertisements for effective and timely sales of inventory.
- Learn and maintain a strong understanding of parts numbers, equipment types, and product descriptions.
- Respond to customer inquiries promptly with detailed, knowledgeable answers about inventory.
- Photograph and accurately describe products for listings.
- Track and manage inventory listed online to ensure accuracy.
- Coordinate with internal teams to identify and prioritize surplus items for online sale.
- Meet or exceed sales targets through active listing management, pricing strategies, and customer engagement.
Requirements:
- Experience selling on eBay, Craigslist, Facebook Marketplace, or similar online platforms.
- Ability to create compelling product descriptions and advertisements.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Attention to detail with inventory and part identification.
- Basic understanding of construction equipment and parts (or willingness to learn quickly).
- Self-motivated, organized, and capable of working independently.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in equipment, parts, or industrial sales is a plus.
- Familiarity with e-commerce sales strategies and best practices.
Compensation Structure:
- Base salary plus commission on sales.
