Lab Technician - Charlotte, NC

• Pay Rate: $18.00/hr
• Shifts: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM - Must be flexible and be able to work weekends if necessary
• Temporary Contract position with Raise

Job Responsibilities:

The successful candidate must be able to work a 2PM-10PM shift. Under limited supervision, conducts in-process and finished product testing to determine adherence to established specifications of quality and purity.

• Attendance and punctuality is required.
• Conduct laboratory tests and analyze data for a variety of purposes, such as production, quality control, and minor research.
• Test and analyze products such as flour and wheat products to determine if product meets plant specifications prior to release.
• Release within specification vessels and report out of specification vessels.
• Document results of testing in Total Lab Client (TLC). Complete Certificates of Analyses.
• Prepare chemical solutions for use in the lab. Maintain and calibrate lab equipment and related field instrumentation.
• Maintains awareness and adheres to all FDA, GMP, EPA, OSHA, and employer standards and guidelines.
• Support and comply with all food safety, quality, and legality requirements.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education Requirements:
