Job Description:
Reporting to the Regional Manager, this position is responsible for the day to day functions of the location. This position is accountable for procurement of all grains in a profitable manner where the location will achieve optimum financial results. The manager will be responsible for watching and managing details of the business to include but not limited to: weights, grades, accounting policies and procedures, purchase policies, and any other details that come up on a day to day basis. The manager will work in conjunction with regional management to develop a location business plan including asset utilization, market development, strategic alignments, logistics and divisional objectives. This position will work closely with local and regional operations management in the areas of safety, efficiency, quality and expense management.

Responsibilities and Job Expectations include but are not limited to:
- Be instrumental in recruiting, development and training of the employees at the location.
- Have an Owner's Mindset
- Monitor and Own the location P&L and other Month End Reports.
- Manage inbound and outbound grades to ensure accuracy.
- Closely monitor open accounts to minimize risk.
- Build and maintain relationships with key customers.
- Monitor open contracts to ensure delivery within contract terms.
- Handle all audit and compliance related issues in a timely manner to ensure compliance with corporate mandates.
- Understand regional & divisional strategic goals and drive goals of self and location personnel in accordance.
- Work to make quick decisions in a fast market while accepting the responsibility to defend them through business planning and analytical presentation.
- Develop a clear understanding of local, national & world markets & trends.
- Develop superior knowledge of plant operations and guide operations staff through examples of cost saving and margin enhancing synergies.
- Have extensive knowledge of ADM Grain Marketing (Contracts & Programs)
- Consistently meet deadlines given by management.
- Keep regional management informed of any material developments within your trade area.
- Portray a positive image of the company and self when interacting with customers and colleagues.

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.
If hired, employees will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base pay (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
The pay range for this position is expected to be between:
$87, $150,800.00
Salaried Incentive Plan
The total compensation package for this position will also include annual bonus
