Senior Interior Designer Responsibilities
As a leader on our design team, you will be managing details for multiple projects, providing creative input and technical knowledge to team members and leading projects to completion on schedule and within budget. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with clients in a project management role through all project phases.
Responsibilities include programming client needs, conceptual design, schematic design, design development, space planning and construction documentation. Participate in the selection and presentation of furniture, fixtures and equipment (FF&E), color palettes, millwork and lighting. Generate finish plans, specifications, and material selections needed for construction. Provide design support and documentation during completion and execution of design concepts. Work with external consultants, product representatives, furniture dealers, and fabricators. Engage in marketing and business development efforts.
Senior Interior Designer Qualifications
Ideal candidate will have specific experience with Commercial projects. Our clients mandate very short timeframes for production; therefore candidates must be able to succeed in fast-paced office environment and manage details for multiple projects simultaneously.
8 years of relevant experience in design, with a focus on commercial interiors projects
Degree from a CIDA accredited Interior Design program is preferred
NCIDQ certification is preferred
High level of proficiency in Revit required
Graphics and visualization skills to effectively communicate design ideas
Strong communication skills
Proficiency in PhotoShop, SketchUp, Enscape, and/or Lumion is a plus
LEED Accreditation is a plus
