Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry Level Mechanic to join our dynamic maintenance team. Duties
- Assist with the inspection, diagnosis, and repair of heavy machinery
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire service, brake repairs, and fluid checks
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and diagnostic tools to repair mechanical systems
- Read schematics and technical manuals to understand vehicle and equipment systems
- Support the replacement of transmissions, hydraulics, suspension components, shocks & struts, and electrical systems
- Conduct vehicle maintenance including alignments, air brake systems, HVAC components, and diesel engine repairs
- Help with equipment assembly and welding tasks to ensure operational safety and efficiency
Requirements
- Basic mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools and power tools
- Strong interest in heavy equipment operation
- Ability to read schematics and technical manuals for troubleshooting purposes
- Willingness to learn automotive diagnostics and electrical system repairs
- Physical ability to lift heavy components safely and perform manual labor involving heavy lifting
