Adlai E Stevenson High School (Lincolnshire, IL) is seeking a ELL Tutors for the 2026 summer session.
Description:
The Summer ELL Tutor position for the Multilingual Learning Division is a Support Staff position. The ELL Tutor must have the ability to work with multilingual learners with emerging English proficiency in ELD tutorial classes, social studies classes, and other content area settings; identify additional learning resources to support content-based language acquisition; maintain contact with classroom teachers, ELL Summer Instructional Coach, and Division Director and Assistant Director regarding students' needs/progress.
First Semester
Week 1: June 2 - June 5 (Tuesday - Friday)
Week 2: June 8 - June 11 (Monday - Thursday)
Week 3: June 15 - June 18 (Monday - Thursday)
Week 4: June 22 - June 25 (Monday - Thursday)
Second Semester
Week 1: June 29 - July 2 (Monday - Thursday)
Week 2: July 6 - July 9 (Monday - Thursday)
Week 3: July 13 - July 16 (Monday - Thursday)
Week 4: July 20 - July 23 (Monday - Thursday)
Summer session runs daily from 7:00am - 1:00pm.

Qualifications:
Experience working with multilingual or English learner students preferred. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Patience, flexibility and student-centered mindset. IL paraprofessional license (PARA), substitute license (SUB) or teaching license (PEL) is required.
Salary and Benefits: $19.50 per hour/No additional benefits are associated with this position.
