EP!C - Peoria, Illinois, employs approximately 272 staff members and generates $30 million in annual revenue serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) across more than 15 counties in Illinois.
EP!C is seeking a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to provide visionary leadership, strategic direction, and operational oversight. The CEO/President will be responsible for advancing the organization’s mission, ensuring financial sustainability, promoting a culture of excellence and inclusivity, and leading a dedicated team of employees to deliver high-quality, person-centered services that enhance the quality of life and opportunities for individuals with I/DD.
Serving individuals with developmental disabilities and their families since 1950. What began as a service for ten children is now providing services across 15 counties in the state. Enriching the lives of adults with cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, autism, epilepsy, and other intellectual or developmental disabilities. We are also a resource for our participants’ families, offering support through care, information, and encouragement.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Minimum 10 years of progressive leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a senior executive role overseeing multiple service lines and administrative departments.
- Demonstrated success in managing budgets of $20M and leading large, multidisciplinary teams (200 employees).
- Strong ability to set organizational vision, develop strategic plans, and execute measurable objectives.
- Experience working with a governing Board of Directors, fostering collaborative governance and policy development.
Required:
- Master’s degree in business administration, Nonprofit Management, Public Administration, Social Services, or related field required. MBA, Doctorate, preferred.
- Proven track record of senior executive leadership in nonprofit or human services organizations of comparable size and complexity.
