Participate in the evaluation of the client through completion of task analysis and other requested assessment devices. Address challenging behaviors proactively and respectfully, using methods outlined in plans and training. Maintain current knowledge of client’s needs.

Maintain positive communications and relationships with his/her supervisor, clients, landlords, employers, involved members of families, Regional Center, D.O.R. and other individuals in the community.

18 years of age or older. Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen and background check. Insured, registered vehicle in safe working condition, and proof of current CA driver’s license. High School Diploma or Equivalent. Physical evaluations may be required dependent upon specific assigned duties or compliance requirements and may include a TB test and/or a lift and transfer test.

Schedule
His/her schedule may be either part or full time, depending on the needs of the clients and Adjoin. A Direct Support Professional works as scheduled by the Regional Manager and/or his/her designee. Overtime may be required as dictated by operational needs, however, no holiday or overtime may be worked without the prior approval of the Direct Support Professional's supervisor.
