What are the responsibilities and job description for the PLM & PMO Specialist position at Adjmi Apparel Group?
We are seeking a PLM & PMO Specialist to serve as both the owner of the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) platform and a central project manager within the PMO, supporting high-priority business, systems, and operational initiatives. This role works closely with Design, Merchandising, Sourcing, Production, IT, and executive leadership to drive structured execution, visibility, and follow-through across the organization.
What You’ll Do
PLM Platform Ownership
- Own and manage the PLM platform, including configuration, workflows, enhancements, and user support
- Lead end-to-end PLM initiatives (requirements, build, testing, training, go-live, stabilization)
- Serve as the PLM subject matter expert for styles, BOMs, costing, materials, vendors, and development calendars
- Partner with ERP and Data teams to support PLM-to-ERP integrations (BlueCherry experience a plus)
PMO & Cross-Functional Project Management
- Serve as a PMO resource for cross-functional initiatives, including systems, process, and operational projects
- Partner closely with executive leadership to help prioritize initiatives, track progress, and ensure accountability
- Translate high-level business objectives into structured project plans, milestones, and deliverables
- Manage timelines, dependencies, risks, and resource constraints across multiple initiatives
- Proactively identify risks and bottlenecks, escalating with clear recommendations and mitigation plans
- Support day-to-day project coordination, including meeting preparation, status reporting, and action-item tracking
What We’re Looking For
- 5 years of experience in PLM, enterprise systems, product operations, or project management within apparel or consumer goods
- Proven experience delivering end-to-end system implementations and managing cross-functional projects
- Strong PMO fundamentals: planning, prioritization, dependency management, and executive communication
- Solid understanding of apparel product development, sourcing, and costing workflows
- Hands-on experience with PLM platforms (BeProduct preferred; experience with Bamboo Rose or other PLM systems is a strong plus)
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working across multiple initiatives simultaneously
Nice to Have
- Experience with BlueCherry ERP or other apparel ERP platforms
- Exposure to ERP, BI, EDI, or data integrations
- Experience supporting multi-brand or multi-division organizations
- Project management certification (PMP, Agile, Scrum)
