Quality Support Specialist

Summary : This role supports the Dealer Service Tools group, Non-Current, and Powder Metal categories.The individual will be heavily involved in the following : PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) approvalsSupplier Quality 8D reviews (Problem-solving and corrective actions)PPM (Parts Per Million) metric monitoringSupplier Excellence certificationConducting supplier auditsIdentifying and driving SSP (Supplier Service Performance) improvementsThe individual will be instrumental in ensuring the quality standards are met across our supplier network, monitoring performance metrics, and collaborating closely with suppliers to resolve issues and improve outcomes. Typical Day or Week in the Role : Monitor supplier quality to ensure alignment with client's goals.Oversee PPAP and NCM (Non-Conformance Monitoring) processes.Collaborate with suppliers to achieve Supplier Excellence Recognition (SER) certification.Address and resolve quality issues in partnership with suppliers.Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to elevate supplier service performance (SSP).The role requires high levels of collaboration with multiple teams across the organization, including product development, procurement, and quality assurance. Daily interactions with suppliers will also be a key part of this role to ensure timely resolution of issues. Work Environment : This is a hybrid role, with the flexibility to work both from home and from the office, depending on the tasks at hand and team needs. Education & Experience : Bachelor’s degree preferred, ideally in Engineering or Quality-related field.Previous experience in supplier quality management, manufacturing, or a related area is required. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience and the benefits package you select.
