Position’s Contributions to Work Group:
- Primarily Product Procurement Engineer will be working on supporting Dynamic Energy Transfer program for all categories focused on Electrical and Hydraulics.
Typical task breakdown:
- Support engineering and suppliers to help design the most manufacturable part. Email, meetings, and supplier visits
- Follow up with suppliers on RFQs
Education & Experience Required:
- Years of experience: 5-7 years
- Degree requirement: BS or BS in process, engineering, supply chain for similar
Top 3 Skills:
- Project Management
- Data analysis and technical proficiency
- Demonstrated experience of working in a purchasing function within a manufacturing environment
Additional Technical Skills:
- Technical background, with ability to read/interpret engineering drawings and 3D CAD Models.
- Knowledge and application of APQP
- PPAPs
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, engineering disciplines, and quality processes
- Supplier Relationship management
Soft Skills:
- Excellent Verbal and written communication skills
- Ready to Relocate to Tucson
Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $36.00 - $37.00 /hr. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.
