Summary:
Responsibilities include driving farm machinery and a forklift, with all operator certifications handled upon successful hire. Most of the driving involves moving equipment off trucks or into lab areas.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver instructor-led classroom, lab, in-field, and virtual product training to dealers, company employees, and customers.
- Adapt content, training materials, and activities for each class to enhance dealership and employee capabilities in diagnosing, optimizing, selling, or managing various Ag & Turf equipment.
- Focus on training programs that include products, services, and/or professional skills with a strong emphasis on product features, applications, and product system technologies.
- Manage lab/field/classroom setup, execution, and tear-down for each training event.
- Present PowerPoint instruction in the classroom and conduct lab activities, such as diagnosing and fixing machine bugs.
- Monitor course effectiveness using Net Promoter Score data.
- Develop strong relationships with dealers, certified dealer instructors, and field teams to promote and fill classes, ensuring high-priority training needs are met.
- Research training topics to increase subject matter expertise specific to product, machine systems, professional skills, and product applications.
- Collaborate with platforms & training development to develop & update course materials.
Qualifications:
- Experience in training and development areas such as instruction, needs assessments, curriculum development, presentation skills, adult learning theory, and related work.
- Proficiency in standard desktop applications such as Microsoft Office and department-specific programs (i.e., ServiceAdvisor 5, CCMS).
- 1 or more years of field experience with regular customer contact, knowledge of dealer/distribution network, and broad product knowledge.
- 1 or more years of factory experience interfacing with design, engineering, and manufacturing.
- 3 or more years as a Field Service Technician.
- 3 or more years as an Agronomist.
- 1 or more years as a Service Manager.
Desired Skills:
- Strong knowledge of agriculture equipment and/or precision technology.
- Demonstrated professional communication skills with proven results both written and verbal.
- Commitment to lifelong learning with the ability to understand complex systems.
- Recent graduates with an Agriculture degree and technicians from dealerships are strong candidates.
Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $35.67 - $36.67/hr. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.
