Summary:
The scope of the service includes inspection of gaging and torque tools, verification of certifications, assessment of backup inspection processes, and evaluation of sampling frequency compliance across all shifts. Additionally, the audit will examine the integrity of interlocks and identify controls that can be bypassed, culminating in Red Rabbit testing with known defective parts to ensure inspection systems are effectively detecting failures. The objective is to enhance process reliability, ensure compliance, and support continuous quality improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Audit Report on Standard Work vs. Control Plans Detailed comparison highlighting discrepancies between documented control plans and actual shop floor practices across assembly, packaging, and machine shop operations.
- Tool and Inspection Validation Summary 100% inspection of gaging and torque tools, including verification of serial numbers and certification status in the gage database.
- Backup Inspection Process Assessment Evaluation of documented and validated backup inspection procedures for scenarios where primary inspection methods are broken/unavailable.
- Sampling Frequency Compliance Audit Analysis of adherence to required sampling frequencies across all three shifts and alternate work schedules.
- Control Bypass Risk Assessment Audit of interlocks to IPVs, inspections, torques with recommendations to mitigate associated risks and determine which of our controls can be bypassed.
- Red Rabbit Test Results Execution and documentation of Red Rabbit testing using known defective parts to assess the effectiveness of IPV systems in detecting failures.

Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $25.00 - $30.00 /hour. As a non-exempt position, this role will be eligible for overtime, at 1.5 times the base rate, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education, and experience.
