What are the responsibilities and job description for the IT Quality/Test Engineer position at Aditi Consulting?
Payrate: $30.00- $31.00/hr.
Position’s Contributions to Work Group:
- Builds and executes tests for data pipelines to ensure data accuracy, reliability, and quality across platform processes.
- Supports operational monitoring and issue resolution to maintain stable and efficient data flow.
- Identifies defects, validates fixes, and partners with cross-functional teams to improve data quality and reduce production risk.
- Helps improve team efficiency by supporting repeatable test practices, operational readiness, and continuous process improvement.
Typical task breakdown:
- Test design and execution
- Defect identification and validation
- Root Cause Analysis and process improvements
- Cross-functional collaboration between Data Engineering and Data Stewards
Education & Experience Required:
- 1-2 years’ experience in software test and/or software development
Technical Skills
- SQL (Snowflake)
- Java/Springboot
- AWS (or other cloud services)

Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $30.00- $31.00/hour. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.
