Summary:
The role involves managing purchasing and shipping activities for indirect materials, supplies, and services. This includes creating and tracking purchase orders, coordinating with vendors, and maintaining accurate records in the ERP system.
Responsibilities:
- Create, update, and track purchase orders for indirect materials, supplies, and services.
- Work with vendors to confirm pricing, availability, lead times, and delivery dates.
- Enter and maintain customer or internal orders within the ERP system.
- Monitor open orders and communicate status updates, delays, or changes to stakeholders.
- Prepare shipping documentation, coordinate pickups, and support inbound and outbound freight activities.
- Maintain accurate ERP records for purchase orders, sales orders, inventory transactions, and shipments.
- Resolve order discrepancies, invoice issues, and shipping-related problems.
- Coordinate with operations, warehouse, finance, and customer service teams.
- Support reporting and continuous improvement efforts related to purchasing, shipping, and order management.
Qualifications:
- Experience working within an ERP system (Oracle Preferred).
- Background in indirect procurement or purchasing support.
- Experience with shipping administration, logistics coordination, or warehouse support.
Skills:
- Strong order management and data-entry skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and follow-through.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and standard office software.
Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $31.00 - $31.00 /hour. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.
