Summary:
We are seeking an experienced, highly motivated Data Scientist with a strong focus on generative AI and large language models (LLMs). The successful candidate will contribute their expertise to develop AI-driven tools, optimize machine learning (ML) models, and advance the adoption of generative AI technologies within the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and manage AI and ML-powered digital products across various stages of development.
- Develop and integrate generative AI and LLM-based solutions, ensuring modular and reusable code for scalability.
- Analyze enterprise data and monitor performance of deployed models to generate actionable insights in support of business objectives and maintain data/model quality.
- Partner with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for leveraging ML and AI to drive process improvements and enhance efficiency.
- Contribute to the development of MLOps pipelines and automation workflows to support scalable deployment of ML/AI solutions.
Education:
- Doctorate degree in computer science, mathematics, computer/electrical engineering, or a related quantitative field
- Master’s degree and 2 years of experience in data science, machine learning, or software development
Preferred Skills:
- Doctorate degree or Master’s degree with 3 years of experience in a related field.
- Expertise in developing and deploying ML and generative AI models, including experience with LLM frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python and ML/AI libraries (e.g., Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Foundational knowledge and hands-on experience with Natural Language Processing (NLP) and LLMs.
- Familiarity with MLOps and DevOps practices, including tools like MLflow, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems.
- Experience with cloud computing technologies, e.g., AWS, Spark, Databricks.
- Understanding of API development and deployment (e.g., FastAPI, RESTful APIs).
- Proficiency in business intelligence and visualization tools like Tableau, Streamlit, or Dash.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.

- Advanced proficiency in machine learning and software development using Python and SQL, with a focus on Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs).
- Ability to communicate technical information concisely and effectively to audiences of varying backgrounds
- Ability to analyze, interpret, and provide actionable insights from business problems, data, and Machine Learning or Generative AI models
Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $55.00 - $58.00/hr. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience and the benefits package you select. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages. Packages may include medical, dental, and vision benefits, 10 paid days off, 401(k) plan participation, commuter benefits and life and disability insurance.
