Summary:
The main function of a Data Analyst is to coordinate changes to reporting using tools like Power BI and Fabric, test, and implement data analysis, and apply knowledge of database management systems and queries.
Responsibilities
- Work with senior management, technical, and client teams to determine data requirements, business data implementation approaches, and best practices for advanced data manipulation, storage, and analysis strategies.
- Write and code logical and physical database descriptions and specify identifiers of the database to management systems or direct others in coding descriptions.
- Design, implement, automate, and maintain large-scale enterprise data ETL processes.
- Modify existing databases and database management systems and/or direct programmers and analysts to make changes.
- Test programs or databases, correct errors, and make necessary modifications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering, or a related field required.
- 2-4 years of applicable experience required.
Skills
- Experience with database technologies.
- Knowledge of the ETL process.
- Knowledge of at least one scripting language.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated history of success.
- Desire to work with data and help businesses make better data-driven decisions.
Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $50.00 - $55.00 /hour. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.
