Location: Hanover, PA 17331 (Hybrid)
Duration: 10 months (Temp to hire)
Payrate: $19/hr. on W2 with benefits
Timings: flexible shifts (typically 8 AM – 4 PM, 9 AM – 5 PM, or occasionally 7 AM – 3 PM) based on business needs.
Job Overview:
As a Customer Service Assistant, you will serve as the primary point of contact between client and its customers. You will handle a wide range of customer inquiries including order placements, product information, returns, and complaints. The role involves significant data entry, communication through email and phone, and interfacing with internal departments (IDPs). This position requires a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively manage various customer-related tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a liaison between the business and customers by addressing inquiries, processing orders, and handling complaints in a professional manner.
- Engage with customers via phone, email, and potentially in-person interactions to resolve issues or provide product information.
- Ensure all customer requests are handled efficiently and within a timely manner.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy with data entry tasks, particularly in SAP and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Work closely with internal clients and departments to ensure proper communication and resolution of customer issues.
- Prioritize tasks effectively and use sound judgment when implementing corrective actions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Education: Associate degree preferred but not required.
- Experience: Prior customer service experience, preferably in a business-to-business (B2B) environment.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly MS Excel.
- Excellent communication and client interaction skills.
- Attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Flexibility to work in a hybrid environment, with a willingness to work onsite when required.
- Must be a fast learner with the ability to adapt to new software systems (training will be provided for SAP).
- Experience in warehousing or retail is a plus.
