Themed Entertainment & Scenic Installations – Site Supervisor

Adirondack Studios (ADKS), a global leader in the design, build, and installation of themed entertainment spaces and experiences, is seeking additional Site Supervisors to support the North American Project Delivery team. As a Site Supervisor, you’ll be the boots-on-the-ground leader for our installations. You’ll guide crews, coordinate with Project Managers, subcontractors, general contractors, partner vendors, and clients, to make sure our installs are safe, efficient, and top quality. This role is project-based, with travel expected (both domestic and international). Projects may last anywhere from a few weeks to several months.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead installation crews on site — set daily goals, delegate work, and keep the team moving.
• Translate drawings, schedules, and designs into clear, actionable work plans.
• Plan ahead: identify challenges, coordinate with PMs, and keep installations on track.
• Oversee subcontractors and local labor, including working with Project Managers to hire support when needed.
• Support site logistics and facility integration — materials, tools, and install hardware — ensuring everything is integrated and in place.
• Conduct site surveys, submit daily reports, and document progress with photos.
• Manage receipts, petty cash, and basic project paperwork.
• Ensure compliance with all ADKS and site safety requirements (promote a clean, safe workspace).
• Step in as a working supervisor if needed – not afraid to roll up your sleeves.
• Occasionally support early project planning, offering install-focused feedback during design, fabrication, and estimation.
• Travel within the U.S. and abroad as projects require.

What We’re Looking For:

• 3 years of experience supervising installations in themed entertainment, theatre, museums, or commercial construction (projects $500K–$3M a plus).
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate crews and resolve on-site challenges.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, schedules, and technical documents.
• Familiarity with scenic carpentry, rigging, paint, metalwork, and other trades.
• Experience with subcontractor coordination, facility integration, client interface, and personnel management.
• Comfortable with digital tools — reports, surveys, and photo documentation.
• Professional, courteous, and discreet when dealing with clients and partners.
• Dependable, proactive, and adaptable under pressure.
• Safety-minded — OSHA 30, forklift certification, or similar, is a bonus.

Benefits Include:

• Personal Time accrual of 1 hour for every 30 hours worked immediately upon hire.
• Vacation Accrual: 4% of hourly compensation contributed by ADKS, payable in quarterly of each year. Accrual begins after the initial 1000 hours worked.
• Participation in company medical, dental, and vision insurance plan, upon 90 Days of employment.
• Participation in the company’s Long Term Disability Insurance upon 1 year of employment. This is at no cost to the employee.
• Participation in the ADKS 401K plan following 90 days of continuous employment and then at quarterly open enrollment.

• Up to 56 hours of New York State paid sick leave annually

This role offers an hourly pay range of $60-70. The actual hourly rate provided will depend on various factors, including, without limitation, the individual applicant’s qualifications for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and, if applicable, the position’s location
