What are the responsibilities and job description for the Unit Supervisor - Med / Surg position at Adirondack Health?
Position Summary:
Responsible for the services provided and the operation of a nursing unit(s). The unit Supervisor has administrative accountability for continuous delivery of high-quality patient care in the nursing unit(s) assigned. Supervises, orients, and coordinates the work of RNs and other staff in the unit.
Educational Requirements/ Qualifications:
Current NYS License, graduate of an accredited school of nursing, minimum of five years acute care nursing experience, including Med/Surg, BLS, ACLS and PALS certification required, critical care background preferred. BSN preferred, previous supervisory/management experience preferred.
Pay Range:
$48.00 - $60.00 per hour
