What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mental Health Technician / or LPN position at Adirondack Health?
Position Summary:
The Mental Health Tech is a member of a multidisciplinary treatment team and provides support for the patients therapeutic treatment plan. Primary responsibilities include, observing and recording patient information pertinent to the treatment plan, assist nurse with nursing care to patients and perform related activities necessary to the general operation of the nursing unit. Must be capable of physically assisting patients, dealing with patient emergencies, and working as a member of a clinical team.
Educational Requirements/ Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent. One year nursing assistant experience, experience in behavioral units or geriatrics preferred. Strong interpersonal skills.
Pay Range:
Mental Health Tech: $18.04 - $25.06 per hour
LPN: $25.69 - $34.51 per hour
