Workforce Program Support CoordinatorPart-Time, 20 Hours Per WeekAdirondack Health Institute (AHI) is an independent, non-profit organization that is leading the way in rural health care transformation across a nine-county region of the North Country. AHI supports hospitals, physician practices, behavioral health providers, community-based organizations, patients, and others in our region to advance equity, quality, access, and affordability of health and healthcare services. We are seeking a Workforce Program Support Coordinator to join our team.
This individual will work part-time, 20 hours per week. The Workforce Program Support Coordinator provides administrative, purchasing, and data management support for AHI’s BOOST (Building Opportunities and Outcomes for Success in Training) Program, funded through the Mother Cabrini Health Foundation.
The position ensures the timely processing of student wraparound services, purchasing, and credit card requests, and accurate data entry within AHI’s tracking systems. This role exists to support the efficient implementation of program operations and strengthen service delivery to BOOST students.Responsibilities of the Workforce Program Support Coordinator also include:Purchasing & Financial Coordination* Processing purchase orders, credit card transactions, and reimbursement requests.* Coordinating procurement of student wraparound supports such as transportation, housing, utilities, tuition, books, uniforms, and testing fees.* Tracking expenditures to ensure compliance with BOOST grant budget and procurement guidelines.* Maintaining organized financial documentation for internal review and audit readiness.* Communicating with finance staff and vendors to resolve invoice, ordering, or billing questions.Program Support & Student Services Coordination* Preparing and maintaining documentation related to student support services and scholarship-related purchases.* Assisting BOOST staff with tracking student requests and service utilization in a timely and accurate manner.Data Management & Tracking* Entering and maintaining accurate data in BOOST tracking systems.* Updating student records, milestones, and service utilization information.* Assisting with data clean-up and preparation for internal and external reporting.* Supporting document collection and organization for required grant reporting.Education & Experience: Associates’ degree in business administration, finance, human services, or related field; equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Minimum of two (2) years of experience in administrative support, financial processing, or program coordination roles. Experience with purchasing or procurement processes preferred.Other Skills: Candidates must have strong attention to detail and accuracy. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Outlook, and Word, is a must. Must have the ability to manage multiple tasks with competing deadlines. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required, as is the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information. Other Requirements: The Workforce Program Support Coordinator will have the ability to work remotely, however, must have the ability to travel as required for occasional in-person staff meetings. Travel is primarily during the business day. Must have a valid driver's license and vehicle, or evidence of mobility within the service area. Functions include but are not limited to: must be able to write and speak clearly using the English language to convey information; hear at normal speaking levels in both person and over the telephone; walk or stand; use fingers and hands to feel objects; remain in a stationary position for extended periods. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
