Duties
- Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, providing excellent customer service throughout their dining experience.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems.
- Provide recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales.
- Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while maintaining proper presentation standards.
- Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations for guest checks.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service and address any guest concerns promptly.
- Adhere to sanitation and food safety guidelines to maintain a clean and safe environment for guests and staff.
- Foster positive guest relations by addressing inquiries or concerns effectively.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred, particularly in fine dining or nightclub environments.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is advantageous.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service and guest relations.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and check processing.
- Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation techniques is a plus.
- Understanding of food safety practices and sanitation standards is essential.
