Job Title: Network Architect. (W2 Only)

Location: Columbia SC (Hybrid)

Duration: 12 months

Job Description :

Core Mission: To provide technical expertise for the development, support, and security of the SC Department of Social Services' voice and data communication networks. The focus is on ensuring reliable and secure communication between the state data center, agency sites, and independent county governments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, monitor, and troubleshoot the network with a priority on Firewall, Wireless, and Cisco ISE.
• Use tools like Cisco FMC, ASDM, and ISE for daily operations.
• Analyze system interactions and evaluate the impact of changes.
• Implement security countermeasures and prevent vulnerabilities.
• Provide remote troubleshooting support to external State and County IT teams.
• Mentor peers and perform off-hours maintenance.

Environment & Tools:

• Primary Vendor: Cisco
• Key Technologies: Cisco Firewalls, Cisco ISE, Cisco VPN, Cisco Routers, Cisco Switches.
• Tools: Wireshark, PuTTY.
• Platforms: Azure Cloud, Virtualization.
