Job Title: Linux Systems Administrator/Engineer

Location: Columbia SC
Duration: 12 months (Hybrid)

Daily duties / Responsibilities:

This position will be responsible for the planning, implementation, and management of all linux server instances in our environment. Currently, this includes rhel and oracle unbreakable linux. The candidate will work closely with other infrastructure staff members and also act as a backup resource on infrastructure areas such as storage and network.

Required Skills (rank in order of importance):

• Red hat enterprise Linux (rhel) server
• Linux operating system
• Oracle unbreakable Linux server
• Linux scripting (bash or python)
• Oracle Linux automation manager

Preferred Skills (rank in order of importance):

• Oracle database
• Vxrail hyperconvered hardware
• Vmware
• Aws
• Azure cloud support
• Windows server
• Active directory administration

Required Education:

• bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, computer engineering or equivalent
• equivalent years of experience can be substituted for formal education (at least three years)
