As a Mental Health Therapist, you will:
- Provide individual, couples (LMFT only) and/or family therapy.
- Conduct diagnostic assessments, treatment planning, and counseling services.
- Offer family support, communication, and education.
- Facilitate therapy groups.
- Advocate for clients within larger systems.
- Coordinating with and referring clients to other qualified providers.
- Maintain the clinical record for each client and ensuring documentation meets all compliance standards set forth in organization policy and insurancecontracts.
Requirements
We’re looking for candidates with:
- A completed Master’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field that meets Oregon licensing requirements
- Licensure with the Oregon Board of Licensed Professional Therapists or Board of Licensed Social Workers
- At least 3 years of experience providing mental health treatment to children, adolescents, adults, and families (graduate-level experience may be considered)
- Knowledge of the impacts of oppression and persecution on mental health and daily functioning, with experience applying trauma-informed care principles
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage documentation in an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system
