About the Role
ADF Engineering is seeking a full-time Mid-Senior Structural Engineer to join our growing team in Dayton, OH. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated engineer who thrives on variety and enjoys working on challenging projects that span multiple industries.

What You'll Be Doing
As a structural engineer at ADF, you'll work closely with other engineers and designers to develop creative, efficient, and safe structural designs for a wide range of industrial projects. You'll have direct interaction with clients and play an active role in seeing projects through from concept to completion. Your responsibilities will include:

Designing, analyzing, and modeling structural systems using advanced CAD and FEA tools

Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and clients to solve engineering challenges

Reviewing and developing structural drawings, specifications, and reports

Ensuring compliance with engineering standards, building codes, and best practices

Contributing to project planning, estimating, and scheduling efforts
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or a related field

Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in structural engineering

Active Professional Engineer (PE) license
Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering

Experience using finite element analysis software

Proficiency with CAD software and structural modeling tools

Background in reviewing and producing engineering drawings

Experience in industrial settings such as agribusiness, pharmaceuticals, or biofuels
