Position: Account Manager/ Accountant
Adeptus Advisors, LLC, a growing full-service CPA and Business Management firm, with offices in New York City, New Jersey, Long Island, Maryland, White Plains and California, is seeking an Account Manager our office located in Los Angeles, CA. Our staff of bookkeepers, accountants and CPA’s provide our clients with the technical and professional expertise for all of their financial needs. Our areas of expertise include:

- Tax Planning & Preparation
- Personal Financial Planning
Job Responsibilities:
This position reports to Supervisors and Partners. The Account Manager will be responsible for:
- Bookkeeping and bill pay
- Reconciliation of intercompany accounts
- Review books & financials on monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
- Finalize financial statements for purposes of preparing tax returns
- Prepare 1099s for vendors
- Concert tour accounting and budgets
- Assess and maintain proper insurance coverage for clients
- Communicate directly with client and their managers, attorneys, agents
- Applications for financing of large assets purchases (vehicles, real estate, professional equipment)
- Filing
- Excel schedules
- Invoicing and tracking of income from royalties, touring, merchandise sales, and other revenue streams
Requirements:
- Minimum 4 years’ experience working as an Account Manager/Accountant, preferably at a Business Management firm
- Strong proficiency with Quickbooks, Microsoft Office (Word Excel, Access, Outlook)
- Experience with preparation of Forms 1099/1096
- Experience working with clients in the entertainment industry. Music industry is preferred
- Willingness to take on new tasks and assignments when required
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision
- Can work overtime when needed
- Experience with touring music clients is preferred
