The Regional Nurse Clinician provides clinical oversight, education, and support to nursing teams across multiple skilled nursing facilities. This role partners closely with Directors of Nursing and facility leadership to ensure quality care, regulatory compliance, and clinical excellence.
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Nebraska (or compact state)
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in skilled nursing or long-term care
- Prior leadership experience (DON, ADON, or Unit Manager preferred)
- Strong knowledge of state and federal regulations
- Proven ability to lead, educate, and motivate clinical teams
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability and willingness to travel frequently
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical support and guidance to nursing leadership and staff across multiple locations
- Assist with survey readiness, regulatory compliance, and quality improvement initiatives
- Conduct clinical audits, chart reviews, and mock surveys
- Educate and mentor nursing staff on best practices, policies, and procedures
- Support onboarding and training of new Directors of Nursing and nurse leaders
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes
- Travel regularly to assigned facilities within the West-Central Region of Nebraska
